Applications are open for the WomHub Green Acceleration Programme for female founders and women-led enterprises. The WomHub Green Acceleration Programme (GAP) aims to assist female founders and women-led enterprises within the green economy in securing capital by ensuring they are investor-ready and compliant. This initiative, powered by WomHub and supported by GIZ, will select 30 entrepreneurs to embark on a finance readiness journey designed to unlock new capital sources. The GAP Programme reflects WomHub’s ongoing dedication to empowering female founders to achieve financial readiness and access appropriate capital, thereby fostering inclusive growth in the green economy. Eligibility – WomHub Green Acceleration Programme for female founders and women-led enterprises Applicants should possess a registered company that has been operational for at least 6 months. They must be female-founded, co-led, or managed. The business should be engaged in the energy or broader green economy sector. Individual applicants are required to be South African citizens. Applicants must be prepared to commit to the entire duration of the programme, which will commence in July 2025. They should also demonstrate a willingness to actively engage in the Programme.
