El sector apenas ha acogido 91 rondas en todo el planeta, recaudando un total de 1.100 millones de dólares (940 millones de euros) en el segundo cuarto del año, según recogen los datos del serv icio de análisis CB Insights . Este importe implica una caída del 21% respecto al lapso de enero a marzo y del 9% interanual. El declive se produce a contracorriente del entorno que envuelve el venture capital en general, donde las grandes perspectivas sobre el papel que puede protagonizar la inteligencia artificial en las start ups de cualquier actividad están impulsando la financiación agregada global y también la envergadura de las operaciones. En el insurtech , por el contrario, además de debilitarse el total de inversión atraída por el sector, el valor promedio de los deals se ha reducido un 19% desde los 5,2 millones de dólares registrados a fin de 2024 hasta los 4,2 millones de dólares actuales, revela la información de CB Insights.
