nLoop
nLoop is a platform to build, manage, measure, and communicate a live safety case. The platform is composed of two pieces. First, a safety case template that provides a basis to create a credible, evidence-based safety case. The second component is the cloud-based software to manage it, connect to sources of data/evidence, and provide an up-to-date status to internal and external stakeholders. nLoop architecture begins with artifact and evidence providers that connect to safety engineering work products hazard analyses, development artifacts, design documents, test results, and operational data.

Army's Unmanned Systems (UxS) initiative, a large Army effort to advance ground autonomy. Under the contract, Scout will integrate its autonomy platform, Fury, onto Army furnished Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISV's), demonstrating the full range of UxS autonomy requirements. The program spans a 16-month performance period, after which the Army may procure units up to $150 million in contract value. Scout applauds the Army's bold leadership in making UxS the first program to rapidly field a new generation of AI-driven, mission-ready ground autonomy solutions. At the core of Scout's solution is Fury, a multi-domain foundation model for defense robots. Fury is a fully learned, camera-only autonomy system that combines Vision-Language-Action (VLA) reasoning with high-rate commercial off-the-shelf hardware. Unlike legacy, hand-engineered autonomy stacks, Fury delivers human-like judgment in real time while maintaining a low-cost, low-signature hardware profile. "Fury is modeled on the same end-to-end learning approach that powers the most widely deployed and cost-effective autonomy systems in the world," said Colby Adcock , Scout AI Co-Founder and CEO. "This award demonstrates the Army's intent to leapfrog legacy automation systems and incorporate AI." For the UxS program, Scout is collaborating exclusively with Textron Systems Corporation, who will lead vehicle integration. Scout is also partnering with Edge Case Research, who will provide independent safety case validation, ensuring Fury meets Army safety requirements for fielding autonomy. About Scout AI Scout AI was founded in 2024 by Colby Adcock and Collin Otis with the mission to build the AI brain for defense robotics. Its Fury autonomy stack is designed to transform uncrewed ground, air, sea, and space systems into intelligent, collaborative teammates that multiply warfighter effectiveness.
