UKHotViews Continuing its recent strong performance in the UK Public Sector, Capgemini has been awarded a £20m contract by Defence Equipment and Support (DES), a trading entity and joint-defence organisation within the UK Ministry of Defence. The four-year deal focuses on human resources software development services. The win follows Capgemini’s success in securing a spot for the provision of applications services on the Ministry of Defence’s Digital and IT Professional Services (DIPS) framework announced last week ( see here ). In our latest Defence SITS Supplier Rankings report, we identified Capgemini as an “on the rise” player. Segment revenue growth of an estimated near 130% in 2022 placed the company in 15th spot on our league table. Across the UK Public Sector as a whole, Capgemini saw its sales increase by over a fifth last year to make it the second largest Software and IT services Supplier to the vertical ( see here ).
